The Sovereign Nation of the Chickamauga Cherokee Tribe has withdrawn from Cherokee Nation West. Therefore, according to the Cherokee Nation West Constitution they are no longer connected to Cherokee Nation West in any way.

Announcements

The next Tribal Council Meeting is scheduled for March of 2025. As soon as arrangements have been made, I will get that information out to you.

All citizens in good standing in attendance will vote for a new Council. Woman.

Speaker Marlin McKay will give updates on all things concerning the Tribe.

There will also be a short Ouachita Cherokee Benevolent and Cherokee Nation West Meeting immediately following the Tribal Council Meeting. Hope to see you!

New Update!!! For new members, the processing fee for the head of the house will be $50.00. Their children and grandchildren will be discounted to $25.00. Because of the high cost of living the Tribal Council made this adjustment to help families with their enrollment.
